Our Team & Past Players
Founder & CEO
Surya Vinjamuri
Surya Vinjamuri founded Intuit Sport with a background shaped by years of high-level competitive tennis. Beginning the sport at age five, Surya developed through the junior ranks, competed in ITF professional events as a teenager, became a highly ranked Southern California USTA junior, and later played NCAA Division I tennis.
His years as a competitive player gave him firsthand experience with the performance, construction, and feel athletes expect from their equipment.
After his time in competitive tennis, Surya picked up pickleball as a hobby. Coming from a high-level tennis background, he quickly became interested in the equipment side of the sport and believed that the prices being charged for many pickleball paddles did not always reflect their quality, materials, or construction.
That observation became part of the foundation for Intuit Sport. Rather than following the conventional startup playbook of prioritizing social media hype, large advertising budgets, and aggressive customer acquisition from day one, Surya chose to build the company in reverse. Intuit Sport focused first on product quality, direct player feedback, manufacturing, retail placement, and athlete testing in professional tournaments.
As the company expanded its retail and distribution relationships, Intuit Sport found that its paddles were moving through its partners without requiring the kind of heavy paid marketing spend common across the category. That reinforced a different operating philosophy: build a product retailers are confident carrying and customers are willing to buy, then let distribution, performance, and repeat demand do more of the work.
Retail relationships, professional tournament testing, and customer response became core validation points, allowing Intuit Sport to build from the product outward rather than from marketing inward.
As Founder & CEO, Surya continues to apply that same product-first philosophy to Intuit Sport, combining an athlete's perspective with a disciplined approach to product development, manufacturing, and distribution.
Product Consultant & Past Player
Jericho Grollman
Jericho Grollman has been part of Intuit Sport's product development process since day one, advising the company and testing its products from its earliest stages. Drawing on his professional playing experience, Jericho has provided firsthand feedback on paddle performance, feel, construction, and playability throughout the development of Intuit Sport equipment.
Alongside his role in product development, Jericho represented Intuit Sport as a player while competing across PPA, APP, and USA Pickleball events. His experience testing Intuit Sport products in both development and high-level competition has given the company direct insight into how its equipment performs in the hands of a professional player.
Today, Jericho continues to serve as a Product Consultant, carrying forward a relationship that has existed since Intuit Sport's earliest days and helping shape the products the company brings to the court.
